I really loved A Taste of Saigon when they were in Silversprings. We ate there regularly. I was very excited to see that they moved near to my home address in Royal Oak. However, we were so disappointed by the service (they sat us at the "bar" and promised to give us the next table, but never did get us a table) the wait time (over an hour) and the food (alerted us after 45 minutes that they ran out of the food we ordered) that we are unsure we will ever return (oh, and they over-charged us on our bill). The only good thing about the experience was that despite the fact that the food was uncharastically cold, it was still tasty! We will give it one more try because we really want to enjoy the food we used to eat when they were in Silver Springs.
This place is run by a complete family who work harder than anyone I have met in the business and genuinely care about the customer. No they cannot put out like a McDonalds food chain, but if I wanted that I would be at McDonalds.
The food is excellent and I have tried other places but no one really compares. I eat there VERY often and have not been dissappointed. I often take friends and family there.
Please be patient as they are limited in what they can do all at one time.
The prices are fair and you get good value for your money there.
I am waiting patiently for them to open their new establishment in Royal Oak hopefully in September. I can't wait.
This food is delicious. Absolutely dynamite. Try the soup, it'll make your C & B's tingle with delight.
